While Bernie's patience with Bryan is pushed to the limit, an opossum invades the Mac house and forces Bryan and Jordan to work together.

Wanda objects to Bernie's new system of harsh punishment for the kids, until she gains control, eases up, and they take advantage of the situation once again.

The family goes to a church retreat in order to help them bond, but when it rains out they find themselves driven even further apart.

While Bernie finds it impossible to fulfill Wanda's wishes by spending some time alone with her, Bryana learns about her real mother from Vanessa and Jordan.
